Aaron's current work is called Bones. This is a new series of work dealing with the relationship between life and death. Bones is an ongoing exploration and creation, using sculptures of bones made from bronze or plaster. The Bones series reveals the beautiful variety of forms that bones can take, elegantly demonstrating the fragility of life, the necessity of death, and the beauty of both. Bones are, after all, the fundamental foundation, or scaffolding, of the human body.
With these sculptures, Aaron wants people to look into their own souls or inner-selves and contemplate the beauty of the body's structure, which will, in most cases, outlast us.
